چکیده

The Liupanshui Minghu Wetland is a typical artificial urban wetland in plateau mining region. It important to identify the sources and potential ecological risks of heavy metal contaminants its surface sediments monitor downstream water quality prevent pollution. In this study, we measured concentrations six toxic metals (Pb, Zn, Cr, Cu, Ni, Cd) collected from Wetland. Further, geological accumulation indices their risk indices, pollution levels, associated hazards were evaluated. average levels Pb, Cd superficial 197, 222, 79.0, 59.1, 68.6, 4.67 mg/kg, respectively. With exception remaining greater than background Statistical analysis indicated strong correlation between Cu ( p < 0.01). by these elements can be attributed human activities such as transportation, industrial activity, agricultural production. Ni activities, coal mining, natural phenomena, weathering mountains rocks. low minimal contamination. Pb moderately enriched, contamination ranged moderate high. Shiyuan region (S) was highest among three regions park. followed Longtoutan (L) region, lowest Erdaoba (E) Among metals, main contributor This study also strives provide theoretical basis data support for prevention control wetlands Alpine areas.

Evaluation of Heavy Metal Pollution in Anzali Wetland, Guilan, Iran

Background: Evaluation of heavy metals as toxic pollutants in environment has a significant importance in environmental pollution studies. surficial sediments of water resources have a high potential in releasing heavy metals to the upper water environment, hence sediment analysis presents guidelines to the authorities for monitoring the environmental systems. Methods: In this study, total an...

Investigation of Heavy Metal Contamination in the Surface Sediments of Anzali wetland in North of Iran

Over the last few decades, Anzali wetland has been at risk of pollutants, especially from heavy metals. The present research analyzes some physical and chemical properties and heavy metals concentration in 27 points in nine stations of Anzali wetland. The samples of each station have been mixed, acidic digested, and analyzed by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The mean con...

Evaluation of heavy metal pollution in sediments, water and macrobenthos of Hur Al-Azim wetland (Khuzestan)

Background and Objectives: Chemical storage of water cannot provide complete information about the extent of bioavailability of metals in the environment, while the study of this storage in the chain of water, sediment and macrobenthos can make the rate of rotation and storage risk more visible in ecosystems. Hur Al-Azim wetland is located in the west of Khuzestan Province. Large parts of it ha...
